Bake a delicious Sponge cake with this mix for Spongecake from Bake Delicious 1 kg
Ingredients:
- Sugar, WHEAT flour, Emulsifier: E475, E433, WHEAT starch, Raising agent: E450i, Raising agent: E500, Stabilizer: E466, Baking salt, Thickener: E415.
- Product has been produced in an environment where allergens may be present.
Preparation method:
(For a round baking tin of approx. 25cm)
- 325 grams Bake Delicious biscuit mix
- 260 grams egg (about 5 eggs)
- 32 grams of water
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Place the Bake Delicious mix for sponge cake, eggs and water in a bowl. Set the mixer with whisk on the highest setting and mix the ingredients in 7 to 10 minutes until a smooth and airy batter. Fill the greased baking pan 1/2 to 2/3 with the batter.
- Bake the biscuit / haircut in the oven for 35-40 minutes at 175 degrees (convection oven 160 degrees) Attention: do not open the oven in the meantime! This is possible after 3/4 of the baking time.
- The cake is done when it feels springy and a skewer comes out dry

- Round 20 cm: 250 gr mix, 200 gr egg, 25 gr water, baking time: 30-35 min.
- Round 25 cm: 460 gr mix, 350 gr egg, 46 gr water, baking time: 35-40 min.
- Round 30 cm: 660 gr mix, 500 gr egg, 66 gr water, baking time: 40-45 min.
- Square 20 cm: 400 gr mix, 300 gr egg, 40 gr water, baking time: 30-35 min.
- Square 25 cm: 595 gr mix, 450 gr egg, 60 gr water, baking time: 35-40 min.
- Square 30 cm: 850 gr mix, 650 gr egg, 85 gr water, baking time: 40-50 min.
